HDC Human Development Consultants Ltd. respects your privacy. You may visit our site without registering or providing any personal information.

We will not obtain or retain any personally identifiable information concerning you without first asking you to provide such information. However, you should be aware that most web servers do obtain and log information through the operation of the technology and software involved, which information generally includes your IP address, the identity of your ISP, your operating system, your web browser software and version, and other information about your computer and connection.

We at HDC believe that we provide products and services that will contribute to your company's performance. If you wish to download a Free Self-Instructional Training Module for purposes of experiencing and evaluating a sample of our product line, we will ask for and require personally identifiable information in an online form, which you must complete before you can download the sample. We require this information to fulfill your request, to be able to follow up with you to better serve your needs, to advise you of other products and opportunities which may be of interest to you, and to record the distribution of our intellectual property and copyrighted material for the purposes of monitoring and controlling distribution and use. The online form also has an option checked by default asking us to e-mail you about new releases. That option can be removed should you choose to do so. Your IP address will also be logged.

If you wish to purchase training kits from us, we will ask for and require personally identifiable information in order to fulfill your request, to be able to follow up with you to better serve your needs, to advise you of other products and opportunities which may be of interest to you, and to record the distribution of our intellectual property and copyrighted material for the purposes of monitoring and controlling distribution and use. We ask that you provide specific information such as your name, company, address, telephone number, and industry. Your IP address will also be logged.

If you are purchasing by VISA or MasterCard, your credit card information will be encrypted before being sent to E-xact for processing. Their web page is at http://www.e-xact.com/. HDC does not have access to your credit card information.

HDC uses the information you provide to better design and customize our training kits to meet your needs and to advise you by e-mail of matters, announcements, and developments we believe will be of interest to you with respect to our company and products. For example, we will notify you by e-mail when new training kits are available for purchase. We also use the information provided by you to generate aggregate reports and statistics to better serve the market.

The information you provide is for HDC internal use only, except for the credit card information, which remains confidential but is processed externally to HDC by E-xact as stated above. We do not sell, share, or disclose our mailing lists, which are used by HDC alone.

We retain the information we obtain on a permanent basis, but we disclaim any obligation to you or any other party to retain any particular information permanently or at all.

If at any time you do not wish to receive further e-mails from us, please notify us at hdc@hdc.ca. In the subject line, please put the words "Remove from Mailing List". If you wish to ask us to advise you as to what information we have concerning you, or if you wish to advise us of changes or updates to your information, or if you have any other question relating to what information we have with respect to you, please e-mail us at hdc@hdc.ca, including the words "Information Request" in the subject line.

HDC Human Development Consultants Ltd. must and does reserve the right to cooperate with local, provincial, and federal officials in any investigation lawfully requiring either personally identifiable information - including any personal information provided to us by you, or information obtained by the operation of the server and software and contained in logs or similar files on our system.

Please note that we reserve the right to modify our security/privacy policy in the future. In the event that we wish to disclose any personally identifiable information concerning you to anyone outside HDC, except as required by court order or related process, we will first seek and obtain your consent before doing so.
